Well things have been very exciting at World of Caenyr with a slew of new and returning players joining us! Here's a list of just SOME of the players that have come to Caenyr in the last few months! Join me in welcoming them to our community!

I know there are many more that I've missed, so sorry for that, but definitely a big welcome to ALL of you! We're happy to have you with us!
The serverwide quest still continues and has been a very excting ride indeed! Many infamous characters from the past and future had traveled through the time rift caused by the strange tower in the Valley of the Lost, and their interactions with Caenyrites stirred up some interesting roleplay to be sure. But with the return of Choth all of that ended, as he destroyed the tower and all of the visitors along with it. Still, things are not over quite yet. Strange magic was left in the wake of the fallen tower, and the Gods have stirred their followers in preparation for what is to come through it. The fate of all Caenyr rests in the hands of it's people. What part will you play in saving it?
Along with the severwide quest have been several great module updates by Doug and his team of builders that show the changes to the world that have taken place from the roleplay! Especially the destruction Choth has unleashed on the Black Hand. Poor mercenaries... hang in there!

Happy Birthday, World of Caenyr! That's right, World of Caenyr is celebrating it's 6th birthday this month! Can you believe it? 6 years?! That's incredible! I can't believe you bastages put up with me for that long. LOL! Seriously, it's pretty impressive when you think me, Noggy (who unfortunately is no longer with Caenyr since 2003), and a few other friends hung around on a tiny mod made up of little more than a tavern and a forest, and now that world is the Caenyr we all know and love today! The group of 5-6 has become a community of hundreds through out the years, and the legend of Caenyr has evolved in to a story for the ages, full of great tales, and great characters. Caenyr has also lead the way for many of the standard traditions and structures of Persistent Worlds that exist today in NWN1 and even NWN2. Many of these things were started by us, and still exist now! And it's all thanks to YOU! The great community of players, and most importantly FRIENDS, that have helped shape the lore and the community, and kept it extremely fun along the way. You have all made this a great place to escape to, and for that I thank you and commend you. So here's to you, Caenyr! Happy 6th birthday, and here's wishing you many many more!
I'd like to welcome yet more new Dungeon Masters to the DM team. Join me in congratulating DM Wicked, DM Infinity, and DM Malice! Well done on your academy training, and thanks for already bringing some great new role-play to the masses!
Speaking of role-play, there's a brand new serverwide event that's kicked off. A strange, ruined tower has suddenly appeared within the mountains of the Valley of the Lost, and with an even stranger visitor known as Jurgen. More unexpected events take place around the tower as figures of both past and future start to make their way in to our world. Related, or perhaps not at all, are the discoveries of odd mechanical devices through out Caenyr. Many have already found these strange objects and carry them on their person even now. What are these strange devices meant to be used for? What is causing these unexpected visitors to arrive. Is Jurgen behind the madness, assisting it, or trying to stop it? You'll have to jump in game to join in the fun and find out!
