Caenyr Required HakPak's

HakPak's are add-on files for NWN, to add content not included in the standard game. The Caenyr HakPaks are custom assembled by the builders of Caenyr, to include content that helps enhance our world's environment, and your gaming experience. These files are REQUIRED in order to play in World of Caenyr. To install, download each of the files listed below, and uncompress the contents, using WinRaR (website for download of this program is listed on our Links page,) into your NeverwinterNights/NWN/hak directory (exception for "Caenyr Custom Tlk" hakpak. Please read directions under the link to install.) Caenyr Multipack Hak (15.6MB) This is a compolation hak, which includes many different additions such as new tilesets, creatures, placeables, and much more! Caenyr 2DA (85.7KB) This hak contains data needed for some of the other haks to function properly. Caenyr Cloathing Hak (11.3MB) Adds many different clothing options for outfits, armors, and helms. Caenyr Doors Hak (2.25MB) Adds some very nice custom doors, to be used for alternative looks to the standard doors in NWN. Caenyr Mage Weapons Hak (323KB) Custom designed hak that makes mage weapons such as rods and wands, equippable items. Caenyr Tavern Hack (1.4MB) Adds lots of new placeables to help enhance the building of taverns and stores. Caenyr Tilesets Hack (43.4MB) Adds lots of new tilesets to help enhance the building of the different areas in the modules. Caenyr Heads Hack (31.0MB) Adds lots of new head options for every race, which can be used during character creation. Caenyr Custom Tlk (17KB) This is the Caenyr Module tlk file that allows for customization of certain wording within NWN, such as the messages between transition screens. After downloading this file, uncompress it and place it into the "tlk" folder in your NWN directory.

Caenyr Aesthetic HakPaks

HakPak's are add-on files for NWN, to add content not included in the standard game. The hakpak's listed here, are for aesthetic purposes only. These files are NOT REQUIRED in order to play in World of Caenyr, but are recommended for users with quality computer systems and internet connections, in order to add to the atmosphere of Caenyr. To install, download any of the files listed below that you would like to use in order to enhance your gameplay experience in Caenyr, and uncompress the contents, using WinRaR (website for download of this program is listed on our Links page,) into your NeverwinterNights/NWN/override directory. Override Cave Ruins (2.62MB) Adds "ceilings" to caves and mines, making them much more realistic and adding to the depth and atmoshpere of areas using that tileset. Here is a screenshot of what you will see, if you choose to use this hakpak. Caves Screenshot Alternate Combat Animations v2.0 (1.4MB) This addition will change the standard combat animations to a new "martial arts" look. This is particularly attractive for those who duel wield, use polearms, or used unarmed attacks. Here is a screenshot of what you will see, if you choose to use this hakpak. Alternate Combat Animations Screenshot KuraiRyu's Hands (975KB) This addition will change the standard fists that all characters have, into full fingered hands. Here is a screenshot of what you will see, if you choose to use this hakpak. Hands Screenshot DLA's Canopied Forest (2.56MB) This addition will add tree tops, to all of the trees in the forest tilesets of the module, that normally just "cut off" in mid air. Forest Tops Screenshot NEW! 7/10/08 Colored Icons (777KB) This addition will add some color the normally plain icons displayed for your feats, spells, and so forth. Caenyr Media HakPaks

HakPak's are add-on files for NWN, to add content not included in the standard game. The hakpak's listed here, are for in-game media enhancement only. These files are NOT REQUIRED in order to play in World of Caenyr, but are recommended for users with quality computer systems and internet connections, in order to add to the atmosphere of Caenyr. To install, download any of the files listed below that you would like to use in order to enhance your gameplay experience in Caenyr, and uncompress the contents, using WinRaR (website for download of this program is listed on our Links page,) as specified under the download link. WoC Music Pack - Taverns (16.9MB) This addition will add some custom music for the various taverns in Caenyr, and possibly used in other areas as well. Although this is not required to play in World of Caenyr, you will not hear any music in areas that use these custom files, if you do not have this download. To install, simply download and extract the files into your NWN\music folder. WoC Music Pack - Guilds (17.8MB) This addition will add some custom music themes for various guild areas in Caenyr. Although this is not required to play in World of Caenyr, you will not hear any music in areas that use these custom files, if you do not have this download. To install, simply download and extract the files into your NWN\music folder. WoC Music Pack - Other (8.11MB) This addition will add some custom music for various areas in Caenyr. Although this is not required to play in World of Caenyr, you will not hear any music in areas that use these custom files, if you do not have this download. To install, simply download and extract the files into your NWN\music folder. World of Caenyr Intro Movie (66.2MB) This is the World of Caenyr intro movie that will play during the opening of the module when you log in, if you have it installed. It was developed by Doug, one of our long time community members. Simply download and extract it to your NWN\movies folder.

Caenyr Portrait Packs

The WoC portrait pack is a group of extra portraits for our players to choose from, within the game, as opposed to only using the standard ones for their characters. It also includes personal portraits used by many of the characters within our community, specifically. They are NOT REQUIRED for gameplay, however if any of our players are using them within the game, you will not see their face unless you also have the portrait on your own computer. To install, simply download any of the packs you desire and extract them using WinRAR to your C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\portraits folder. World of Caenyr Portrait Pack v8.0 (50.5MB) This is the full portrait pack, which includes both the free for use portraits, and the personally claimed portraits for specific players. WoC General Use Portraits (34.2MB) This pack contains only the portraits from the full portrait pack that are "Free" for use by all players of Caenyr, for those players that only want their own options and are not concerned about seeing the personal use portraits. WoC Player Use Portraits (16.0MB) This pack contains only the portraits from the full portrait pack that are for "Personal" use, and claimed by specific players in Caenyr. This pack is for players that have no use for the free for use portraits.

Caenyr Extras

Caenyr Fonts (68.1KB) This winzip file contains fonts used throughout the www.worldofcaenyr.com website. They are not required to view the website, however, without them you will only see plain text fonts in their place. To install, download the win rar file and extract the contents to a temporary place on your computer. Next, drag and drop them into your "Fonts" folder, within your Windows directory, and they will begin to install. (Users of other operating systems must place them as necessary.) Landscapes of Caenyr Screensaver (1.51MB) This is a screensaver featuring some of the great landscapes that exist in Caenyr. It was developed by Merhydwynn, one of our long time community members. Download and run the install program, then set it up as your screensaver through whichever operating system you use. Urzahil Tribute Movie (624KB) A funny little tribute movie developed by the community member "TheBaldMan." A few cameos in there from some of the Caenyr elders! Just download, unpack, and double click on the file to view the movie. NWN Log Saver (7.01KB) A nifty utility created by the community member "Tuscany" that easily allows you to save your in game chat logs to a folder of your choice with the click of an icon, so they don't get replaced and lost each time you log in to the game. Simply extract the downloaded file and follow the included instructions for how to use the program. WoC Dwarven Lexicon (173KB) An excellent guide to the Dwarven language as it exists in Caenyr, created by Gnarr, one of the Caenyr community members. Great to download and print off to keep by your side as you roleplay your Dwarven character. The file is in Microsoft Word format.
